Can you make rings in any size?
Yes, I can make rings in half or quarter sizes. I use UK (any size A to Z 1/2), USA (2 – 15 1/4) and European (13 – 24) size systems. If you are ordering US or European sizes please specify which when entering the size.
I don’t know my ring size, can you help?
Ring sizes can be quite tricky to get absolutely right unless they are measured properly using a professional ring gauge. Some of the tools that we find people are using online are not that accurate, which include paper ring charts, and placing an existing ring over a circle on your screen, which means you may end up having a ring made specially for you that doesn’t fit you perfectly. This can be a disaster of course, as many rings can’t be re-sized, and if you need your ring by a certain date you may have some delay in having another one made for you.
The very best way of getting proper ring sizes is to use a metal ring gauge, either by having your finger measured professionally at a local high street jeweller or to rent one. Most of the larger high street chains are happy to provide this service without the need to purchase, however try a ring or two on, if it makes you feel more comfortable.
We can also loan out our professional ring gauge to you. The charge is £50, plus £7.20 next day delivery. The £50 hire fee will be refunded when you place an order within 4 weeks of returning the gauge. Please return the gauge within 7 working days of receiving the package. If the gauge is not returned, or the gauge is returned damaged or broken, you will be charged the cost for the gauge of £50. If you would like to check the correct ring sizes for your wedding and engagement rings using this method (which we recommend) before ordering you just need to call us on 0800 038 0103 and we will send the ring gauge out to you immediately.
Are you able to re-size your rings?
I would be happy to reduce your plain band for you. If you need your band larger, please ask your local jeweller to stretch it to a required size. I am not able to re-size gemstone set rings as there is a danger of damaging or displacing the gemstone/s.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email or by phone on 0800 0380 103.
